VunaFlow

Sell WiFi with a TP-Link Omada access point, no MikroTik needed

Plug in an Omada access point, connect it to VunaFlow, and your customers pay by M-Pesa on your own branded login page. The money goes straight to your till or paybill, and the customer is online the moment they pay.

What you need

  • A TP-Link Omada access point (for example the EAP110-Outdoor or EAP225).
  • An internet line at the site (fibre, Starlink or a 4G router).
  • A VunaFlow account with Omada switched on. We switch it on for you: send us a message from your dashboard.
  • Your M-Pesa till or paybill, set under Settings, Payments.

Set it up

  1. Name your WiFi. In VunaFlow go to Routers and press Add Omada AP. Type the WiFi name customers will see.
  2. Connect the access point to the internet and power it on.
  3. Point it at VunaFlow. Open the access point's own settings page, go to System, Controller Settings, "Controller Inform URL", enter the address shown in the Add Omada AP box, and Save.
  4. Add it. Back in VunaFlow, type the MAC address from the sticker on the access point and press Add. It shows as connected within a few minutes.
  5. Create your packages under Hotspot, Packages, and choose to sell them on your Omada WiFi.
  6. Brand your login page in the Portal Designer: your name, logo and colours.

What your customers see

They join your WiFi, the login page opens, they pick a package and enter their M-Pesa PIN. As soon as the payment lands they are online, and they get their code by SMS to reconnect later. You see every sale, live, in your dashboard and on the VunaFlow app.

Cost

3-day free trial. One-time setup KES 1,000. VunaFlowtakes 0% of your customers' payments. Ask us for the monthly price for your number of access points.
